In Office Dispensing Program

As you can surely understand by now, Medical Foods can play a significant role in your practice.  With the creation of an In-Office Dispensing Program you can now provide an enhanced level of disease management to patients with nutritional deficiencies.

Medical Foods can become a new revenue source.  Below are the products available for In-Office Dispensing:

Theramine™ is a prescription Medical Food product for the daily nutritional management of the metabolic aspects of pain and inflammation

Sentra AM™ is a prescription Medical Food product for the daily nutritional management of the metabolic aspects of Cognitive Disorders

Sentra PM™ is a prescription Medical Food product for the daily nutritional management of the metabolic aspects of Sleep Disorders associated with Depression

GABAdone™ is a prescription Medical Food product for the daily nutritional management of the metabolic aspects of Sleep Disorders associated with Anxiety

AppTrim™ and AppTrim D™ are prescription Medical Food products for the daily nutritional management of the metabolic aspects of Obesity Management

Hypertensa™ is a prescription Medical Food product for the daily nutritional management of the metabolic aspects of Vascular Function

Pulmona™ is a prescription Medical Food product for the daily nutritional management of the metabolic aspects of Pulmonary Function

In addition, the creation of an In-Office Dispensing Program will:

• Insure that patients become more compliant in following their course of their condition management.

• Allows the physician to more closely monitor the patient progress and ongoing supervision, thus adjusting the condition management plan as needed with a higher level of compliance.

• Establish new revenue streams, by condition, without losing that potential revenue source to an outside Pharmacy.

• Demonstrate to the payer community that you are working to reduce the cost of Pharmaceuticals and/or prescription drugs and the associated cost to the patient populations who use them.

Nationwide Medical Foods Group assigns each dispensing partner with an account service representative that specialize in the administration of our Medical Foods Dispensing Program and Product re-orders, stocking, shipping and receiving.  They are familiar with the needs of specialized practices such as yours and currently serve many physicians with special programs in Weight Loss, Bariatric Surgery, AfterCare, Workers Compensation/Industrial Injuries, Plastic Surgery, Orthopedics, Neurology, Internal Medicine, General Practice/Primary Care, Family Practice, Rheumatologists, Pulmonology, Neurosurgery, OB/GYN, and a wide variety of pain clinics, Pain Management/PM&R physicians and Psychiatry,     

You will also be assigned to a Territory Manager who will assist you in getting your practice oriented to the Medical Foods Products.  This includes sharing information regarding billing and collection issue, scheduling ongoing educational programs for staff and in-servicing of new physicians and assisting your program in the expansion into new products and services offered through Nationwide Medical Foods Group.
